Congratulations to our alumni Ethan Perkins on being named a Fulbright U.S. Student Program finalist!
The Fulbright Program was established in 1946 as a bold investment in global peace and American prosperity through educational and cultural exchange. It offers passionate and accomplished students and scholars in more than 160 countries the opportunity to study, teach, conduct research, exchange ideas, and contribute to mutual understanding.
Under the Fulbright program, Ethan will be looking to better understand how certain materials affect the performance of an electrochemical catalyst used in water electrolysis. He will be working with Livia Giordano, a professor at the University of Milano-Biccoca and performing density functional theory calculations of different systems.
Since 1946, the Fulbright Program has provided nearly 450,000 students, scholars, scientists, professionals, teachers, and artists with life-changing opportunities. We are proud to see Ethan be part of this prestigious program and look forward to seeing his continued success throughout his career.
